The Hanoitimes - The Launchpad Accelerator program of Google will get Vietnamese start-ups to receive up to 50,000 USD for their projects.
Google has recently announced the fifth Launchpad Accelerator season supporting start-up projects at select countries (including Vietnam). Specifically, Launchpad Accelerator will support start-ups in various development phase, with a view to achieve the ultimate success. Launchpad Accelerator focuses on successful startups in different stages of development. Selected countries in Asia include Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Selected start-ups will be invited to to the Google Developers Launchpad Space in San Francisco for a two-week training course, with all costs covered by Google. It includes in-depth consultation from over 20 Google specialists and mentors from leading technology companies, as well as investors in Silicon Valley.
The startup will also participate in a Google platform conference that helps businesses grow, and will also work directly with senior Google engineers and Silicon Valley experts, top mentors from around the world to learn of recent marketing trends, so that they can utilize the available resources on technologies and get opportunities to promote their ideas and projects.

In Launchpad Accelerator, Google Developers seeks the most promising technology startups that are ready to expand in scale and are from two target areas: Latin America and Asia.
In the third season of Launchpad Accelerator, Vietnam has 2 start-ups chosen to take part in special training courses of Google. As such, Haravan – a start-up company in fields of developing technological platform for the purpose of business and Elsa Speak – a foreign language learning program, along with other start-ups in the region.
In the fourth season of Launchpad Accelerator, Vietnam also has one start-ups chosen to receive financial support from Google, which is eDoctor.
