Discussing on the importance of robot in digital era, Mrs. Duong Thi Mai Hoa said, robot is fast developing and replacing human in some simple works. As such, robots are more and more manufactured, which are becoming smarter and realizing its role in research and production. At the same time, robot also supports human in business and production, for example, to take part in product assembly.

On the other hand, with regard to works affected by technologies, such as in finance and accounting, with the new technologies, some simple process in accounting will be removed. When enterprises go up in the ladder of global value chain, they can maximize profits through applying technologies in their daily works, in turn improving productivity and brining more benefits in return.

Each country has its own way of applying technologies in the sustainable development of enterprises. “For Vingroup, we always have clear strategy and agenda to ensure the development of human resources with high competitiveness” – Mrs. Hoa added. On Vingroup’s future direction of applying technologies, Mrs. Hoa said: “At present, we are investing heavily in infrastructure and creating new standard in technologies. In Vingroup, we have 7 different business aspects. We always think about the plan of importing robots. At the end of this year, we are expected to import new equipment, in which may includes robot to support patients’ treatment”.

However, the General Director of Vingroup said robot cannot replace human in all fields, as technologies will support human for economic growth in a sustainable way. For example, in garment & textile industry, despite technologies have replaced human in many phases, but in Vietnam, traditional clothes such as Ao Dai are still in need of human’s skill. Sharing the same view as Mrs. Hoa, CEO and Chairman of CreditEase Mr. Ning Tang stressed technologies will support human instead of completely replace human. “As such, finance plays a vital role for enterprises and customers. However, in many cases, consulting or policies and new technologies can only support human in reviewing and analyzing information in the system” – Mr. Ning Tang shared.

With the question of How the labor force will find new job in new era of Bloomberg reporter, the Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland said, “It is not accurate to say that the government is responsible to identify where to find new job or in what fields. Each enterprise or employee has to be the first to know what they are capable of and competitive edge. They have to be active in learning and participating in training courses in new era”.

Agree with Mrs. Chrystia Freeland, Mr.  Co-founder and Chief Strategy Offier of Airbnb Nathan Blecharczyk said the government has an important role in training and supporting students to improve their chances of getting jobs in new era.
