The Hanoitimes - Hanoi People’s Committee just promulgated the Announcement No. 349/TB-UBND on the conclusion of coordination in construction, management and implementation of Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Program in 2017.
Accordingly, Hanoi People’s Committee asked Department of Planning and investment to assume the prime responsibility and collaborated with Investment, Trade, Tourism Promotion Centre, Departments of Industry and Trade, Tourism, Culture and Sports, Foreign Affairs, Education and Training, Health and relevant units to review, update information, complete the Regulation of coordination on the construction, management and implementation of Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion program.
It is essential for the Promotion Program to have strategy, better vision, clear orientation, market forecasting, emphasizing on investment promotion, trade and tourism in foreign countries; participate in large-scale, high quality international fairs; supplement the contents of investment promotion with the application of new, modern, feasible, effective and specific technologies in line with the reality of the city.
Relating to tourism promotion, it’s necessary to develop plans to deploy tours, specific travel routes to Hanoi and vice versa; connect tourism associations, domestic and foreign tourism enterprises to develop the number of tourists to Hanoi; renew the way of tourism promotion under the motto developing tourism tours in combination with attending major events, conferences, seminars; medical examination and treatment; co-ordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant agencies to develop a tourism promotion program in conjunction with the arrival of international delegations visiting Hanoi, Vietnam.
Investment, Trade, Tourism Promotion Centre in collaboration with Departments of Industry and Trade, Tourism, Culture and Sports, Foreign Affairs, Education and Training, Health develop investment promotion program, plan; organize annual large-scale fairs. Content of promotional programs must be associated with promoting the cultural traditions and history of the capital.
