Vietnam always welcomes Czech investors

The Hanoitimes - The Vietnamese Government welcomes and pledges to create favorable conditions for Czech companies to do business in Vietnam, particularly in the fields of the Czech Republic’s strength and Vietnam’s needs, such as energy, environment, infrastructure and crystal glassware, Deputy PM and FM Pham Binh Minh has affirmed.
Politburo member Minh made the remark at a reception for newly appointed Czech Ambassador to Vietnam, Vitezslav Grepl, in Hanoi on July 26, during which the host expressed his delight at the positive developments of the traditional friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and the Czech Republic over the past years, notably the State visit made to Vietnam by Czech President Milos Zeman last June.

He suggested that both countries strengthen the exchange of all-level delegations, effectively implement the political consultation mechanism between the two Foreign Ministries, and collaborate and support each other at regional and international forums, particularly at the United Nations and within the Asia-Europe Meeting and the ASEAN-EU frameworks.

Minh affirmed that the Vietnamese side will assist the Czech Ambassador to successfully complete his working term in Vietnam, thereby contributing to facilitating the traditional friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

On the occasion, the deputy PM thanked the Czech Government and people for helping the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic to stabilise their lives, do long-term business and integrate well into the native society.

For his part, Ambassador Vitezslav Grepl stressed that the Czech Republic always treasures and develops the traditional friendly ties and multifaceted cooperation with Vietnam, particularly in the fields of economics, trade and investment.

Expressing the honour to be appointed as the Czech Ambassador to Vietnam as well as his admiration for the significant achievements attained by the Vietnamese people, Grepl pledged to try his best to contribute to further accelerating the traditional solidarity and friendship between the two nations, and developing multifaceted bilateral collaboration in an extensive and effective fashion.

The diplomat thanked the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry for its coordination and support to make the Czech President’s recent State visit to Vietnam a success, whilst voicing his wish to receive cooperation and support from the Vietnamese Government and authorized agencies during his working term in the country.
