The beauty of Phu Vinh traditional rattan village

Phu Vinh traditional rattan village, Phu Nghia, Chuong My District, which is 35km far from the center of Hanoi Capital, is known as one of the famous traditional villages of Hanoi.

In 2002, Phu Vinh craft village is recognized as the traditional village of rattan with a long tradition of nearly 400 years.

In Phu Vinh, each family has rattan workers, from youth to the elder, women, children can participate in a certain stage of the career.

The traditional features of Phu Vinh rattan products are simple, rustic, with sophisticated production techniques, requiring meticulousness of  talented and skillful hands.

Currently, there are more than 2400 households in Phu Vinh producing bamboo and rattan products, with over 4200 permanent employees, the average monthly income of VND 3,5 million/person and 9 people have been awarded the tittle of artisans, including 6 elite artisans.
